The Bridges of Madison County
Signature Theatre In 2023, Laura returned to DC to music direct this critically acclaimed production of the Jason Robert Brown musical. Peter Marks of The Washington Post praised the music direction by noting: "Brown’s music, orchestrated here for 10 string instruments, a keyboard and percussion... revels in mid-century sound... It’s exquisitely arranged, a world inside a score. Under Laura Bergquist’s musical direction, many of the songs illuminate secret thoughts — reflections of isolated lives." |

Saratoga Performing Arts Center In partnership with SPAC, Opera Saratoga presented Man of La Mancha in 2021, featuring Broadway and Opera star Zachary James in the role of Cervantes / Don Quixote; and Opera Saratoga favorite, Kelly Glyptis as Aldonza.
